Its basically about a group of exorcists called the Black Order. The main character, Allen Walker, is a parasite-type, meaning his Anti-Akuma weapon is a part of him. He has white hair, silver eyes, and his left arm is scarred and deformed for the most part. His left eye can see Akuma souls.
What exactly is an Akuma? Akuma means demon in Japanese. The Akuma in DGM are souls brought back from the dead that manifest their mourner's body, and are created by the Millenium Lord.
What is an Anti-Akuma weapon? An Anti-Akuma weapon is made of innocence. There are three known types (as far as I know), Parasite, Equipment, and Crystal. Crystal and Parasite-types are the rarest, while Equipments are the most common.
Who are the characters? The most well known are Allen Walker (Innocence: Left Arm/Krowned Klown), Lavi Bookman (Innocence: Big Hammer Little Hammer), Lenalee Lee (Innocence: Dark Boots), Yu Kanda (Innocence: Katana/Mugen), and Komui Lee (He's kind of a derp.) There is also Miranda Lotto, who can turn back time with her innocence, and Krory Arystar, who's innocence is in his teeth, and he's classified generally as a vampire.
